options - Retained and Contingency. Both are paid by the client to
ANDERSON ASSOCIATES to perform the search and not by the
professional seeking to make a career change. Retained and Contingency
search differ in terms of the level or expertise of executives required
and/or the salary range of the search. |

Retained Executive Search
Retained Executive Search orders are considered to be an exclusive
contract with a specific company. The company would hire ANDERSON
ASSOCIATES to find a particular executive for a specific position,
and pay a retainer fee during the course of the search process for our
consulting expertise. The assignments best suited for a Retained Search
have an annual base salary that starts at a minimum of $75,000 and can
reach as high as the multi-million-dollar level.

Contingency
Executive Search

Contingency search orders fill the
gap between entry-level placements and those handled by the retained
searches. These searches are paid at the conclusion of the search
assignment - the fees are "contingent upon" the successful placement of
a professional in a position. The annual base salary typically starts at
$30,000 and peaks at about $75,000. This option is ideal for the bulk of
lower- to middle-management assignments.
